Wilson Parking Australia’s commitment to Reconciliation

Wilson Parking acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we all live and work and pay respects to Elders past and present.

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Wilson Parking is committed to reconciliation, we aim to develop a deeper understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures amongst all Wilson Parking staff through the development of company-wide policies.

As we welcome this year’s theme Be Brave.Make Change, the actions we are taking across our offices to support the theme are:

  • Sharing the reconciliation message by displaying National Reconciliation Week posters and banners in our car parks, offices and signatures.
  • Displaying the traditional names of our office locations listed on the website.
  • Morning teas catered for by Indigenous caterers using Indigenous ingredients.
  • Welcome to Country and cultural talks from local aboriginal communities.

Wilson Parking looks forward to playing an active role in improving prospects and contributing to a fair, equal, and respectful society that we live and work.

Wilson Parking will continue to support national reconciliation awareness programs and works towards the formation of a Reconciliation Action Plan, which will outline its commitment to reconciliation across the Wilson Group.
